A healthy start is the foundation for a brighter future. GlobEd promotes the well-being of mothers, children, and adolescents through community-driven health and nutrition initiatives that connect knowledge, behaviour, and access.
Our teams support growth monitoring, health check-ups, and nutrition counselling at the grassroots, while promoting critical practices such as exclusive breastfeeding, complementary feeding, and maternal nutrition. We organise and celebrate community events — including Poshan Maah, Poshan Pakhwada and World Breastfeeding Week — to raise awareness on balanced diets, hygiene, and wellness.
By strengthening the capacities of Anganwadi workers, ASHAs and ANMs and fostering coordination among departments such as ICDS, Health and WASH, we help build a system where no child is left behind due to preventable malnutrition.
Our Strategy
We emphasise convergence, behaviour change communication, and community ownership — empowering families to make nutrition and health a shared responsibility rather than a service delivered.
- Promote inter-departmental convergence to strengthen service delivery at the village level.
- Use behaviour change communication to encourage healthy infant, young child and maternal practices.
- Build local capacity through training of frontline workers and community caregivers.
